Red Ribbon Week
Dear East Fallowfield Families,
October 28th to November 1st is Red Ribbon Week. It is a prevention and awareness school campaign surrounding drugs. This year East Fallowfield’s theme is: “Life is a movie.” Each student will receive a red ribbon/bookmark at school. The students will take them home on Friday. During Red Ribbon Week I will be going into your child’s classroom to discuss the following:
The differences between “safe/healthy” and “unsafe/unhealthy” drugs
The people who are safe to take medication from
What to do if they find an unknown substance
What they can do if someone tries to give them something they are uncomfortable with
Trick or Treating safety
In celebration of Red Ribbon Week and this year’s theme of “Life is a Movie,” East Fallowfield will be holding a spirit week where students and staff are encouraged to dress up as the following movie title themes for each day:
Monday (10/28): Sleeping Beauty
