There will be no school on Monday, January 16 In lieu of the Martin Luther King holiday. Both the Parish Office and School will be closed.

The Knights of Columbus are holding their annual Free Throw Championship on Tuesday, January 17th at 3:30pm in St. Anthony's gym for boys and girls ages 9-14. An entry form can be found on the school website by clicking here or you can fill out the day of the event. Children need not be a member of St. Anthony's School or CYO to enter.

Registration is now open for CYO Volleyball for girls in grades 3-8. Students need to be enrolled in St. Anthony's School or in St. Anthony's Religious Education program to play. Registration forms can be found by clicking here.

Secure your child's spot for Kindergarten! Priority registration opens Tuesday for all currently enrolled Pre-K families. You may access your re-enrollment packet at that time through your Family Portal. After January 27 enrollment opens to the rest of the community. Enrollment will be considered on a first come - first served basis. For any questions, contact Kelly Meyer at kelly.meyer@sasmanteca.org

We will be refurbishing our school library during the month of February. We need volunteers to assist with boxing books and taking out shelves the week of February 6th.

We will also need volunteers to help put books back on the shelves February 23rd and 24th.

Layla is a 4 month old Golden Retriever that we are introducing to St. Anthony's School for the social emotional support of our students. Layla will under go service dog training as soon as she is spayed, within the next two months. For now she is getting use to being around the noises of students and the school. If you see her, you are welcome to pet her and say hi.

Catholic Schools Week is almost upon us. We will be celebrating with our community, school and families. This is a time for open house, grandparents Mass and celebrating vocations. We also ask you to share your faith and your school with others in our community - let them know how great St. Anthony's School is in Manteca as compared to other schools.

Don't forget, if you refer a new family, K-8, (Preschool/PreK classes do not qualify) to St. Anthony's Catholic School, once the family is enrolled - you earn one month's tuition credit to be applied to your FACTS account. The more families you refer, the more credit you earn! The free month of tuition is applied after the new incoming family has been enrolled for a trimester.

*Families MUST include your name in the referral section of the application to ensure you receive credit.

Start planning now to come visit our Scholastic Book Fair during Catholic Schools Week from January 30 through February 5. All monies raised will go back into our library to purchase additional books.

Jump and Shout! We are excited to announce the return of the Dance-a-thon to St. Anthony's School on Friday, February 3rd. Pledge sheets will be going out next week or you can pledge online. Put this date on your calendar. More information to come.

Please remember to respond to the email, sent on 1/9/23, so we know who will be going to which 8th grade days. Thank you.

8th Grade Parents,

Make a memorable contribution to the yearbook by writing a message to your 8th grade student and submitting a baby picture via email. The deadline for submissions will be on Monday, January 23, 2023.

This year all submissions will be done by email. This will help make sure your sentiments and baby picture will appear exactly as you want and will eliminate the risk of loss or damage to your baby picture. We may make minor grammar/spelling changes. If you don’t want us to make any changes, please specify.
