We hope to see you next Wednesday evening!
Picture Day
HELPFUL TIPS TO MAKE PICTURE DAY GREAT!
- Schedule haircuts 7-10 days prior to picture day!
- Wear simple clothing. Solid shirts or small patters, along with sleeves, photograph best. A simple collared shirt is a timeless classic.
- Avoid logos and text on clothing. Graphics or wording may not photograph completely and can become partially cropped out of your picture.

Transportation
Bus Stop Assignments
Bus stop assignments will be available in early-August in the My Ride K-12 app. New stops will not be added during the first 2 weeks of school, however eligible students will be allowed to use existing stops during that initial window.
Who can ride the bus?
Transportation is provided for students who live in the bus zone (i.e. over 1.5 miles to their appropriate school). Non-bus zones are based on a 1.5 mile distance utilizing pathways, neighborhood streets, and arterial streets with sidewalks and crosswalks. Consideration is given to hazards. For more information regarding busing eligibility, please visit the following link: West Ada School District - Attendance Areas.
RFID Badges
We're excited to introduce a new initiative designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of our school bus transportation services. Students at all levels will begin carrying a Bus Badge when boarding the bus. Parents will have access to information through the My Ride K-12 app when students scan on and off the bus.
My Ride K-12
My Ride K-12 is our primary communication for bussing needs. Push notifications about late buses or any vital information that is pertaining to your child's bus information will be sent via the My Ride K-12 message center. Bus stop assignments will be available in early-August in the My Ride K-12 app.

- All tops must cover the stomach, back, chest, and torso. Shirts that expose the shoulders must have a strap or fabric that goes over both shoulders and adheres to the other provisions of this dress code.
- Pants/bottoms with rips, tears, or mesh are acceptable but shall not reveal or expose a private/intimate part of the body nor cause a safety concern.
- Hats or head coverings are permissible at the middle and high school levels. Head coverings may not cover the ears with the exception of those related to medical or religious exemptions.
- No clothing or accessories may depict prejudice, hatred, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, pornography, or profanity, or denote gang involvement, violence, or illegal activities.

Rigoberto Rocks!
As our school custodian, Rigoberto is the hero who keeps our school shining bright. His dedication keeps our classrooms clean, our hallways welcoming, and our spirits lifted. Rigoberto goes above and beyond every single day at LCMS, making our school a better place for everyone. His hard work and commitment never go unnoticed. You truly ROCK, and our school would not be the same without you!
Mrs. Schwartz Rocks!
As our student council advisor, Mrs. Schwartz has provided a lot of support for our staff, students and families. We appreciate her efforts organizing our student council members and having them available during orientations, the first week of school and back to school night. We also appreciate her efforts with our morning announcements and school reader board.
You rock, Shannon!
