Bristol Township School District
March 2025
Superintendent's Letter
Dear Bristol Township School Community,
I hope today finds you well as we head into spring and the final stretch of the school year.
Over the past month, student-athletes have kicked off the spring sports season and families got to experience engaging, "hands-on" learning at the BTSD's Family STEAM Night.
In honor of Women's History Month, students had the opportunity to learn about influential women, past and present, and once again BTSD student-performers starred on the stage in different productions across the district. The School Board also approved two new hires and we are excited to welcome a new Director of Pupil Services/Special Education and HR Manager to the school community.
Please enjoy this month's newsletter and the early days of spring as we welcome April!
Sincerely,
Michael Nitti
Superintendent of Schools

Women's History Month
Malala's Magical Pencil
Elementary students celebrated Women's History Month by learning about inspirational women, and writing and drawing about women who encourage them. A first-grade group at Mill Creek listened to “Malala’s Magical Pencil” and discussed what they would do if they had a magical pencil.
Celebrate Herstory
V.O.I.C.E students created a bulletin board with impactful quotes and photos of women in history, past and present, including Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Princess Diana, Ida B. Wells, and many more.
Musician Moments
BCMEA All County Festival
Truman, Franklin, and Armstrong students participated in the annual BCMEA (Bucks County Music Educators Association) All-County music festival March 20-22 at Bensalem School District.
Students were selected to participate through a rigorous audition process that required them to compete against their peers from all over Bucks County.
BTSD was well represented at this year's three-day All-County festival. It featured concerts by the All-County Middle School Choir, Orchestra, and Concert Band as well as the High School All-County Choir, Orchestra and Concert Band. The event was a tremendous success and all groups gave truly impressive performances!
Students in Concert
BTSD Middle School Honors Band performed in the "Students in Concert" on March 6 and 7. Dr. Jenny Neff, guest conductor and musical educator, worked with the district's most talented musicians in grades 6-8.
Working with BTSD music instructors Keith Krelove and Chris Gerhart, the Students In Concert project provides – at no cost to the school district – musical instruments, music scores, instructional specialists, and other support as needed to engage students.
