Prayer
Prayer for Holy Week
Lord, let everything I do in the coming Holy Week be inspired by You.
Help me to remember that nothing is important in my life unless it glorifies You in some way. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day of my life.
Help me to enter fully into your Passion through my Lenten promises and always be reminded that You went to the desert, the garden and the cross for me.
Amen
A Note from Mrs. Longden
Next week is Holy Week. Let us not forget that the week begins with Palm Sunday and ends with the Easter Vigil followed by Easter Sunday, the largest celebration of the year.
We have been walking the path of Jesus with the school children this entire Lenten season. Please help us follow this path to the Resurrection. It is in learning about the Resurrection and the walk to Calvary that will give our children the path for their souls in this life and the next.
In school, we will have darkened hallways for the week to help students reflect on the events leading up to Easter.
As we start Holy Week next week, I hope everyone is able to take some time out of our busy schedules to focus on the events commemorated during the week. This is the high point of the Christian year. The passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus demonstrate for us the incomprehensible love that God has for each of us. These events provide the model for how we, as Christians, should interact with the world - with love and self-giving. So I encourage everyone to participate as fully as your family can in the church services and liturgical events so that we can all deepen our relationship with Jesus this Holy Week.
Our staff is so very thankful and so proud to be of service to your children, your families, and to our Catholic school ministry. We could not be more proud than to live and breathe in a school that has such great value to those who believe in our work and share our hope in bringing each child closer to God.
On behalf of the entire staff, we thank you with our hearts and souls. We give glory to God as we rejoice in this wonderful success.
Blessings,
Mrs. Longden

SOCIAL FEST CLASS BASKETS
Social Fest Class Baskets
30th Annual Social Fest - Held August 16, 2025 at Holy Trinity School
Silent Auction Class Baskets:
Class projects this year will be a basket provided by each class.
We are looking for one parent from each class to help with the organizing and execution of this auction item. We will be combining Middle School (6th-8th grade) as one basket.
Tasks include:
- Decide on a theme/idea for the basket
- Ask other class parents for items to fill the basket
- Email classroom teacher so they know what is coming and how to help
- Fill the basket and return to school by August 1, 2025 (If you can get it done by the end of the school year, that is great but not necessary to have it dropped off before school is over)
Each class basket should have a unique theme. The goal is for the entire class to help solicit the items to fill the basket. Maximum value of the basket would be $500. Please see how you can help. These baskets are typically great in our Auction! Ideas can be as simple as you'd like. Past ideas include Taste of Kewaskum/West Bend, Parents' Night Out, Snow Activities, Family Game Night, Grilling or even Sports! The mystery egg from last year was a huge hit.
We are asking that all parents participate in some way to support your class basket. Parents can purchase gift cards or items for the basket, or donate money that will go toward the purchase of items. Questions? Have an idea for a donation for your class basket?
If you are interested in helping with your child's class, please reach out to Mrs. Longden by April 25th.

Message from Father Patrick
Dear Holy Trinity School Community,
I'm praying for you all as we approach these final days of the Lenten season.
I am writing to update you on our search for a new principal for the 2025-2026 academic year. The position has been posted for several weeks, and we are currently collecting applications. We will begin the in-person interviews once we have received a sufficient number.
In the meantime, the teaching staff and members of School Advisory have had the opportunity to offer feedback on the qualities we should be seeking in our future principal. The hiring committee will use this feedback as we discern who will be the best candidate to be our next principal.
I will provide periodic updates through this newsletter to keep you informed as the process unfolds.
I ask that you keep Mrs. Longden in your prayers during this time of transition and pray that God may send us a faith-filled leader to guide our school to even greater success.
God bless,
Fr. Patrick Magnor
