We are here to create learning partnerships with students and parents. It's spring, and you know what that means - STAAR. Lamar has a C rating, but we want that B. What does it take to get there? Remember the ABCs

• Academic Achievement - All students must make progress in math and reading.
• Behavior - Reduce the number of students in ISS, suspensions, and alternative school placements. Keep attendance at 95%.
• Culture - High expectations for all.

So what do we need from parents meet our goal?

• Make sure your student attends school every day.
• Set aside time for your student to work in iReady math and/or reading, or Mathia for Algebra students.
• Be positive and highly encouraging!
