Band Buzz: May 26, 2024
Ends are not bad things...
...they just mean that something else is about to begin
Thank you to our band directors and outgoing committee members. None of this would have been possible without you.
Good luck to all of our seniors with whatever direction your life takes you. You will be remembered.
From the Directors:
The students had a great final performance on Tuesday at our Spring Concert. In case you missed it, professional recordings of the music can be found here.
CONCERT UNIFORMS NEED TO BE DRY CLEANED! They then need to be turned in still in the dry cleaner bag with the student’s name printed on the receipt. Please get them in by Tuesday May 28.
***IMPORTANT REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:***
School owned instruments will be checked out to students for the summer on Saturday June 1 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. More information will be sent out on Tuesday regarding rental fees.
All returning band and color guard students need go to the online store and purchase necessary equipment. EVERY RETURNING STUDENT NEEDS TO PURCHASE AT LEAST A SHOW SHIRT! Students also need to check their other equipment (game shirt, shoes, etc.) and make sure they still are in good condition and still fit. Now is the time to order all of those items! The online stores close on June 9 so please don’t delay.
All student communication going forward will now be on the Band App. Please make sure all students have joined the Clear Lake Falcon Band group. Students without phones can still access the Band App on their school issued device through a web browser. Parents are also welcome to join, however, email will still be the primary way we will communicate to parents.
Let’s have a great final week!
