Notifying the school of Dismissal Changes
Please use the Change of Dismissal Form
We're reaching out about an important safety concern during dismissal time. With nearly 500 students leaving our building each day, last-minute changes create significant challenges in ensuring every child gets home safely.
**To Keep Your Children Safe During Dismissal:**
1. Please limit dismissal changes to true emergencies and unexpected medical needs only
2. Submit any necessary changes by 12:00 PM using the form below * (Pro tip: Save it to your phone for easy access)*
3. Good news! Once you submit the form, you're all set - no need to email the attendance line. Some parents like to forward the email confirmation of the change to the classroom teacher however that is not required.
4. For early pick-ups, please arrive before **2:45 PM** (This helps avoid the busy bus time)
5. Extended Learning families: Remember to notify both your Extended Learning team and submit the form
Have a child heading to LBMS event after school?
If your MRE student is attending a sibling's game or activity at LBMS, we'll automatically dismiss them as a "walker" once most buses leave. They'll exit through the front door to meet you. (If you prefer the pick-up line instead, just let us know!)
We know changes are sometimes unavoidable, and we're here to help. By following these guidelines, you're helping us ensure every student gets home safely and efficiently. Thank you for partnering with us to keep dismissal time safe and organized for all our students!
Take your students' schedules into account if adjusting dismissal plans for an appointment. For your reference, here are the lunch periods by grade level:
Kindergarten: 11:30 - 11:55
1st: 11:15 - 11:40
2nd: 11:45 - 12:10
3rd: 12:00 - 12:25
4th: 12:15 - 12:40
5th: 12:30 - 12:55
School Lunch
The November menu will be available soon!
