Trait of the Month
Each month at Hopewell we will focus on a specific character trait. September will be the month of respect! Below are some talking points for you to use at home with your student.
Classroom Counseling Lessons
Each classroom got to meet the school counselor with a get to know you lesson! Each lesson informed students of the role of the counselor, where to find the counselor and how to request to speak with the counselor. The month of September begins counseling curriculum lessons and all grade levels will be learning about self awareness. I will be in each classroom an average of 2 times per month. Here is a peek at what we will be up to:

PBIS Points (SOAR Slips)
Students have been working hard to show the qualities stated in our hawk pledge. Have Respect, Act Responsibly, Work Together, Keep Our School Safe, & Soaring to Success! Twice a month students have the opportunity to spend their points at our school store! Ask your student how they have earned points & what they are planning to spend them on!
