Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well! As we continue through the school year, I wanted to bring your attention to some important dates and events in September that I want to ensure are on your calendar.
September 17 - All Pro Dad Breakfast
September 20 - School Closed for BMS Race
September 26 - Breakfast with Someone You Love
September 30 - Picture Day
September 30 - Oct. 3 - Benchmark testing grades 1 - 5
These events are important opportunities for both students and parents to stay engaged in our school community. Please make a note of these dates, and feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or need further details.
We will have benchmark testing for students in grades 1 through 5. These assessments are scheduled to take place between September 30 - Oct. 3 and are an important part of our academic program.
**What are Benchmark Tests?**
Benchmark tests help us monitor student progress throughout the year in key subject areas like reading and math. These assessments provide valuable data that allows teachers to identify individual student needs and adjust instruction accordingly. They also help us ensure that all students are on track to meet grade-level standards.
**How Can You Help?**
To help your child perform their best on the tests, please ensure that they:
- Get a good night's sleep before testing days.
- Eat a healthy breakfast each morning.
- Arrive at school on time.
Additionally, encourage your child to do their best and remind them that these assessments are just one way to measure their learning progress.
**Next Steps:**
Once the testing is completed, we will review the results and share any relevant information with you during upcoming parent-teacher conferences. The results will help guide future instruction and support your child's academic growth.
