MOTHER SON DANCE

Join us for the Mother-Son Dance this Saturday from 7:00PM-9:30PM! Tickets are $20 per family and may include future sibling SMG Trojans and older SMG sibling alumni. Tickets may be purchased by sending in the FACTS form attached below to the office or cash at the door. FACTS forms will also be available at the door. We look forward to this energetic night filled with friends, family and fun!

SMG 6th and 7th Grade Girls Basketball - Undefeated Season

Congratulations to our 7th grade girls basketball team for having a SECOND undefeated basketball season! We are so very proud of you and your leadership and team spirit! What a way to set an example and live Christ!


6th grade girls finished their first season of basketball undefeated. Way to go 6th grade girls!!! Way to represent SMG with great teamwork and positivity!


Good luck to all of our basketball teams this week in the upcoming tournaments!

Dinner Dance

We look forward to seeing you all at the Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School's 41st Annual Dinner Dance which will be held at the American Airlines Museum this year! There will be a live auction, silent auction, bid boards, games, and dancing! More information to come!

After School Dance Program at SMG

Miss Persis Studio is now offering classes for our students at SMG. Spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Classes will be held after school in the cafetorium. Soccer Shots comes to SMG after school on Fridays

WHO WE ARE

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. Our coaches are the best-trained in the business. Our expert-approved curriculum is age-appropriate and aligns with childhood education standards. In addition we provide an exceptional customer experience and ongoing communication with parents.
OUR PROGRAMS
CLASSIC (3-5 year olds)

Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.
PREMIER (5-8 year olds)
Focusing on individual skill, fitness and sportsmanship, each session provides an opportunity for children to be challenged through fun games and team competitions.

Children will also be introduced to tactical elements of the game as they prepare to play on competitive teams.

SMG Cheerleading for incoming 6th-8th Grades

Ms. Meurer (2B), Mrs. Rios, Mrs. Chupp, and Mrs. Paladini will be hosting an informational meeting for any incoming sixth through eighth grader (current 5th-7th) interested in becoming an SMG cheerleader. The meeting will be Monday, February 27th at 6:30PM in Mrs. Meurer's room. This will be a uniformed activity and will work with students involved with sports. This is an interest based leadership program and just as our athletic program, will be a sign-up process...no tryouts.

Incoming Nolan Freshman Cheer Tryouts

Mrs. Brynn Lonnquist, NCHS cheer moderator, will be hosting a required parent and student informational meeting about cheerleading tryouts on Tuesday, February 28 at 6:00pm in the Nolan Library.


Cheer tryouts are on March 27, 28 and 29 from 4pm to 6pm. Attendance all three evening is required as well.

Spirit Hours

The next SPIRIT Hour Report for the school year will go out in mid-February.

Upcoming SPIRIT Hour Opportunities:

  • Lunchroom and Playground Volunteers, daily : we are in desperate need of volunteers to help during lunch periods as Milk Server, Table Monitor, and Playground Monitor
  • Basketball Concessions: Volunteers are needed to work concessions at basketball games January 14th - February 25th. High school volunteers are welcome.
