Husky Headlines 24-25 School Year
Home of Heroes, Leaders, and Champions

Welcome to Week 12- School Resumes on Monday/Block Schedule on Thursday & Friday
Husky Families,
Happy Sunday! I trust that you enjoyed a wonderful Spring Break with family and loved ones.
As a reminder, school resumes tomorrow (Monday 4/7). And on Thursday and Friday we will be implementing our schoolwide Block Bell Schedule as we administer the California Science Test (CAST) in all 11th grade ELA classes. Please see the schedule below for complete details on the schoolwide Block Bell Schedule. We look forward to seeing our Husky scholars shine on their state exams!
As a reminder, 1st period begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Traffic will be heavy every day, especially due to the aquatic center construction currently taking place in the student parking lot. Please drop your Husky Scholar off with plenty of time to be seated in their 1st-period class, prior to 8:30 a.m. start time (Husky Scholars should arrive at least 15 minutes before the first bell to allow time for finding classrooms and settling in). Campus is open at 7:15 a.m. for your convenience. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students. ID cards are required every day.
Lastly, the purpose of this communication is to keep you up-to-date and informed of all things Cen10. Please read through carefully and reach out to us if we can provide further clarification. We look forward to seeing you around Cen10- the BEST HIGH SCHOOL in the state. WE are in this together!
Wishing you all a wonderful evening!
Proud Husky,
Dr. Romero

CNUSD Immigration Enforcement Response
Corona-Norco Unified School District is committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and valued, regardless of their immigration status. We understand that current National Executive Orders may create uncertainty for some of our families, and we want to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to provide a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for all.
Our District adheres to Board Policy 5145.13 for Response to Immigration Enforcement, which ensures:
- Non-discrimination: We celebrate the diversity of our students and provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all, regardless of immigration status, race, religion, or any other factor.

Athletics
As we welcome a new month, it’s time to focus on the next H.U.S.K.Y Way Expectation: KIND. Let’s start this month by demonstrating kindness through LENDING A HELPING HAND.
Here are some meaningful ways to show kindness by lending a hand:
1. Peer Tutoring: Offer help to classmates who may be struggling with subjects you excel in.
2. School Cleanup: Contribute by keeping Centennial clean by picking up litter, recycling, or even organizing a cleanup crew after school events or lunch.
3. Listening: Sometimes, just being there to listen to a friend who’s feeling stressed or overwhelmed can be a powerful way to show support.
4. Volunteering: Get involved in community service projects or school activities that support those in need or help improve the school environment.
5. Media Center Assistance: Volunteer in the Media Center to help organize books.
These small acts of kindness help create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere at school. Let’s continue to embrace the H.U.S.K.Y Way and earn those PAWSITIVE POINTS.
Minga Store
Through the Minga app, students can track the total points they’ve earned. We are thankful to our Huskies for consistently following THE H.U.S.K.Y. WAY expectations and helping foster a positive culture at our school.
We are still accepting donations to keep our MINGA STORE stocked with fresh and engaging rewards. Your contributions will directly motivate Huskies to continue demonstrating positive behaviors and reinforcing the values of THE H.U.S.K.Y. WAY. If you’d like to donate, please click on the items below to access a link for purchasing. Donations can be dropped off at the front office, labeled “Minga Store Donation”, along with your child’s name.
Thank you for your support!
