Clubs and Organizations
Lily Jewell competed in the Regional Employment Skills Competition and earned 2nd place! She will now advance to the state FFA Convention in March! Congratulations, Lily!
The Farm Animal Care Coalition of Tennessee Board of Directors held their annual meeting recently. The success of the 2024 Ag Literacy Week program was discussed. The board voted to recognize youth groups/organizations that went above and beyond with making students aware of agriculture.
Rhea County FFA was selected as one of four student groups across the state that FACCT wanted to recognize/award. FACCT would like to make a $250 donation to the group to use as a reward recognition or for future projects.
Please extend our congratulations to the group for a job well done! We hope their accomplishments during Ag Literacy week will encourage other groups to participate in the future. Also, thanks for your leadership and partnership with Rhea County Farm Bureau with this project.
