In First Grade we reviewed Whole Body Listening as well as the importance of following directions. We practiced following one step, two step, three step, and even four step directions! I was amazed at how great every student did at this activity.
This week in Second and Third grade we will "Reach for the Stars" and create SMART goals for the new school year. I will introduce what the acronym SMART stands for....look below for more information. I encourage your family to create SMART goals at home!
Next week in Fourth and Fifth grade we will dig deep into SMART goals. We will go over what the acronym SMART stands for as well as create goals and a plan to reach our goals for the school year. Ask your kids about his or her goals... I also encourage your family to create family goals this year! I would love to hear if you do this!!
