Good Evening K9 Families,

What a fantastic week it has been! We’ve seen incredible teamwork, kindness, and hard work from everyone—let’s keep that energy going strong.

As we enter October, we’re excited to kick off Anti-Bullying Month. This is a powerful opportunity to talk with your children about what it means to be kind, inclusive, and a good friend. Let’s work together to build a positive environment where everyone feels respected and valued. Encourage your students to be allies, stand up against bullying, and always choose kindness.

A key event this month is Unity Day on October 16th. We ask everyone to wear orange to show solidarity with others and to stand together in support of kindness, inclusion, and anti-bullying efforts. By wearing orange, we’ll send a strong message that we are united in creating a safe, welcoming space for all.

Please continue to talk with your children about how to be compassionate and supportive friends, and let’s make this an amazing month full of kindness and respect!

Pick Up and Drop Off Reminders

Morning Drop Off

We kindly ask that families do not park at Ira Jones when dropping off students. Please be sure to pull into the designated car line to ensure a safe and smooth drop-off process for everyone. Following this procedure helps keep traffic flowing and ensures the safety of all students.

Afternoon Pick Up

Please remember to turn off your car while waiting to pick up your student after school. Running cars pose a safety risk for students and teachers walking up and down the car lines, and it's also important to reduce the fumes in the air for everyone’s health. Thank you for helping us keep our school environment safe and healthy!
