School Climate & Connectedness Survey
Dear Families,
At Mirror Lake Middle School we are dedicated to creating a positive, welcoming environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. To ensure we’re meeting the needs of our students and families, we rely on your valuable input through the annual School Climate and Connectedness Survey.
This survey is an essential tool that helps us understand how students, families, and staff feel about our school. It provides critical insights into areas such as school safety, student engagement, family involvement, and the overall sense of belonging within our school community. Your honest feedback allows us to identify strengths and areas for growth, helping us improve and provide the best possible experience for our students and families.
We encourage every family to participate. Your voice matters, and we want to hear from you! The survey is open. If you need assistance completing the survey or accessing the online platform, please don’t hesitate to contact our front office.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and for being an integral part of our school community. Together, we can continue to build a school environment where every child feels connected, supported, and empowered to succeed. Let’s celebrate our success as we continually refine our pedagogy.

Volunteer Presenters Needed!
Are you interested in sharing what it has taken for you to do the job you do, what skills or training you need, or what your duties involve? Or maybe you'd love to share a sampling of what a day at work looks like for you? Or do you have a hands-on activity or demonstration to spark interest in your career field? We need you!
On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Mirror Lake will host Career Exploration presentations during Coyote Time. These presentations help students learn more about the variety of jobs/careers/businesses in our community. Each volunteer will present to two separate groups of approximately 25 students. Each presentation will be 25-30 minutes long. We would need you to check in at the library at 10:30 AM to receive your room assignments. Coyote Time ends at 11:50 AM.
If you are available and interested in volunteering your time and presenting to our students, please respond using the link below.
