Back to School Welcome!

Hello SMS families, and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! The start of a school year is an exciting time and I can't wait for students to return to the building! This newsletter contains information about operating procedures at Seaman Middle School, such as the daily schedule, drop-off/pick-up plan, and when student computers will be issued. It also has information about fall athletics, when our counselors are available for schedule changes, and our Back to School Night on August 12. I hope that you will be able to join us for the Back to School Night event! This event provides parents and students the opportunity to walk their class schedule, practice locker combinations, and meet their teachers. Office staff will also share information on our new discipline plan, accessing technology, and athletic and activities.

Seaman Middle School is an outstanding school because of our teachers, staff, students, families, and community members. I look forward to partnering with each of these groups as we continue and strive for excellence through showing respect, effort, and responsibility daily. Looking forward to a great year,

Athletic Update from Mr. Uhler

Welcome to another great year at Seaman Middle School. We are excited to get our fall sports started which include Cross Country, Football, Volleyball and girls Tennis. Our first day of practice is August 19th, starting right after school. Coaches will meet with those interested in participating in these sports during afternoon advisory the 14th, 15th or 16th of August to give students necessary information. Please check the SMS website for each sport to attain additional information. More information to come in the next couple of weeks! GO VIKES!

Back to School Night Information

Back to School night is a come-and-go event where students have the chance to walk through their schedule, work on locker combinations, receive support for Powerschool/Schoology, get athletic information, and have any questions answered about the upcoming school year.

If you are unable to attend the Back to School Night, the office is open beginning July 29th. Please give us a call, and we can schedule a time for you to come and walk through your schedule and work on your locker combination.
