Dental Clinic ~ Dike-Newell School

Nov 13 and May 8

DNS will be hosting a dental clinic for all eligible students who do not regularly see a dentist or do not have a dental home. Brighter Maine Smiles is a Public Health Dental Hygiene service in Brunswick providing preventative treatment in school for people in need. It is recommended to have a complete exam with a dentist yearly.

MaineCare insurance is accepted.

Ticks and Mosquitos

Ticks and mosquitoes can spread infections such as Lyme disease and West Nile virus. Reduce your risk by wearing long sleeves and pants; use mosquito repellent on exposed skin and clothing when mosquitoes are active; check your body for ticks after spending the day in wooded or tall grassy areas; if you find a tick, remove it with tweezers and disinfect the area. Insect repellent cannot be applied during school by school staff and should be applied at home before school.
