Principal's Message

AHS Parents and Students,

This week all Sophomores and Juniors will take the Horizon Practice ACT Assessment #3 on Tuesday, Feb. 25. This assessment provides valuable data to help our Juniors and Junior teachers prepare for the state ACT on April 9. For our Sophomores, this test provides data for preparing these students for the ACT next year. Seniors will report to the auditorium if they do not have a CAD class. Students will be on a regular schedule after 3rd Block.

Senior parents, be sure to check the Diploma Name and Type Document. This document will be sent to the printer at the end of the week. Also, there have been new scholarships added to the DCS Scholarship page!

Horizon ACT Assessment #3

On Tuesday, Feb.25 all Sophomores and Juniors will take the Horizon Practice ACT Assessment #3.
Sophomores and Juniors will not report to CAD 1st Block. Testing will last through 3rd Block. Students will resume their regular schedule after 3rd Block.
Sophomores and Juniors will receive their testing room assignments on Monday, Feb. 24 via email.
Seniors will need to report to the Auditorium at 8:30 a.m. Seniors who have CAD will still report to CAD.

Prom Tickets are now available for Purchase

You may purchase a ticket from Mrs. Partain with cash or check in room A-100 or in the shop on S2 Pass.
Outside guest forms are also located on Mrs. Partain's door.
There are also Prom information packets in the Hallways.

Seniors and Senior Parents,

Please join us for FAFSA Day and Night! Counselors and Calhoun representatives will be available to assist you in submitting the FAFSA.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a school counselor.
Please bring your Chromebook, FSA ID, and 2023 tax documents.

AHS Parking Decals are REQUIRED

Student Parking Forms

All students must have a parking decal to park on campus. Parking forms are available via this link or Hard Copy forms are available in the main office. Any car without a decal is subject to be towed.
