Diane is an active member of the following STEM initiatives: STEELS Content Team, Tech & Engineering - Statewide Lead, and STEM Toolkit - Statewide Lead. She is currently the MIU4 STEM Point of Contact - responsible for the STEM SOW inclusive of Computer Science, STEM competitions, local and statewide STEM ecosystems, Technology and Engineering, MWEE, PA Lending Library, STEELS Standards Implementation, Environmental Literacy and Sustainability, Student Centered Learning, PA Smart IGA, Collaboration with IU TaC, Statewide subgroup participation, and support of AL School Improvement.
To further support our districts, she supports CSIS Launch for School Improvement, is the CSI School Improvement Facilitator, A-TSI School Improvement Facilitator, Gifted Education Liaison, PVAAS Liaison, and CDT Liaison.

Halee comes to MIU4 with 14 years experience as a Secondary Education Mathematics Teacher and is a Google Classroom Certified Educator. For the past 2 ½ years she has served as an Educational Consultant - Mathematics.
In addition to providing mathematics supports, she is the Extreme Leadership Student Program Coordinator, Academic Games League Coordinator, Act 158: Pathways to Graduation Point of Contact, Career Readiness Point of Contact, PVAAS/CDT Data Consultations and Support, School Counselors Network Coordinator, Gifted Liaison, and a CSI, ATSI, TSI School Support Team Member.
Shannon Smith
Educational Consultant - English Language Arts

Shannon comes to MIU4 with 18 years of classroom experience as a Secondary English Teacher. During this time, she was a member of the Curriculum Writing Team for 7 years and is DataWise Certified.
Over the past year, she has served as an Educational Consultant - ELA. She provides literacy support for middle school/high school content area teachers and is a Structured Literacy Trainer. Additionally, she is the Artificial Intelligence Coordinator and Taskforce Member, Academic Games League Support - Score Room Facilitator, School Climate Point of Contact, Social and Emotional Wellness Point of Contact, Librarians Network Coordinator, Social and Emotional Wellness Point of Contact, ESL Coordinator, Social Studies Network Coordinator, Arts Network Coordinator (Visual, Music, Theater, and Dance), Health and Physical Education Network Coordinator, and CSI, ATSI, TSI School Support Team Member.
The Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Educational Consultants receive continuous training and professional development to provide supports using best practices that are inclusive of the latest strategies and technologies.
