End of the Year Celebration

The Savannah R3 School District prides itself on being a foundational piece of the Andrew County community, serving as a hub where many gather, celebrate, and build relationships around the success of local students and programs. Much of this would not be possible without the continued support of local community members and businesses through sponsorships, donations, and advertising opportunities.

A few years ago, the district began hosting an end-of-the-year celebration to honor the dedication of our staff members, recognize our retirees, and present awards of Excellence. As a fellow leader in this community, we invite you to participate in this fantastic event. This is an excellent opportunity for you to show your support directly to the front lines of our district - the staff.

The Savannah R3 School District is the largest employer in Andrew County, with over 300 staff members who eat, shop, and live right here in our community and understand the importance of shopping locally. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a personal connection with each of them!

We will gladly accept any giveaway item you would like to provide, but here are some ideas:

• Gift certificate to your business or another local business

• Savannah R3 Swag (hats, tumblers, car decals, notebooks, signs, etc.)

• Fresh flower arrangements or potted plants

• Themed gift baskets (please, no alcohol)

• Flair pens, Expo Markers, Sharpies (you would be surprised how excited our staffers get over fancy office supplies!)

Years of Service

Recognition goes to staffers who have been with SR3 for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and even 30 years! We believe recognition is key to retention.

This year we will be celebrating 11 District Retirees, including our Superintendent!

Awards

• Excellence in Service Award -- Presented to a deserving support staff member

• Excellence in Education Award -- Presented to an excellent teacher who's been with SR3 for at least 3 years

• Barb Goebel Innovation Award -- Presented to a teacher who's out of the box thinking has positively impacted students

• Rookie of the Year Award -- Presented to an outstanding first year teacher
