What an incredible week we have ahead at Fuller Elementary! We're excited to highlight some wonderful upcoming events that showcase our students' talents and community spirit.

Next week, we'll be hosting our annual Penny Wars fundraiser to support 5th-grade camp scholarships. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to come together and help their classmates experience an incredible outdoor learning adventure.

Our talented 4th graders have two special events you won't want to miss! On Thursday the 12th, they'll be displaying their artistic masterpieces at our 4th-grade Art Show at 5 PM, followed by their musical performance at 6 PM. We can't wait for you to see the creativity and hard work of our young artists and musicians.

We're also thrilled to celebrate Mrs. Olivares' birthday on the 13th! Please join us in wishing her a wonderful day.

With just two weeks remaining before our holiday break, let's make every moment count. We're proud of our students' enthusiasm, creativity, and community spirit.

"We're so excited to announce that 4th grade has been selected for the holiday performance!

It will be Thursday, December 12. There will be an art show from 5-6 p.m with art by every student in 4th grade, & a musical performance from 6-6:30 p.m.

Performing students should be in the gym by 5:45, and dressed in "Sunday Best" or Holiday attire! Sunday Best can be a collared shirt and nice pants (what they wear for their uniform for school!).

If there are questions about the performance, or your student is unable to attend, please contact Mrs.Olivares.

• No student checkouts after 2:30PM.
• Instruction begins at 7:40 (students MUST be in seats by then)
• School day ends at 3:15

Parents may pay for school lunches online by accessing the myschoolbucks.com tab located on the Aubrey ISD website. Applications for meal benefits may be returned to the campus office.

Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance.

A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.

In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
