Please be sure to check the calendar below. We have a busy week beginning on December 2 when we return.
Title Reading Night/ Coats for Kids
We will be having our annual coat give-away on Monday, December 2nd from 6-7:30 PM in the gym. There will also be hats and gloves for our students. We will open the doors at 6pm. We encourage you to arrive early for the best selection.
We will also have our annual Title I reading night with Mrs. Boring and Mrs. Eberhart. After you pick out a coat, stop by to play some reading games with your family and friends. We hope to see you there!
Christmas Concert!
Our Central Catholic Christmas Concert is on Tuesday December 3rd. Doors will open at 6:30pm. Students should report to their rooms. Family may go to the gym and find a seat.
Students may dress up for this event. Students need to follow the school dress code if they are wearing something other than their school uniform.
Out of Uniform Guidelines
● Jeans and slacks without holes or frays
● No tight, body conforming jeans, slacks, dresses or shirts.
● Pants must be worn at the natural waistline.
● Shirts and dresses must have sleeves to cover shoulders and cover the stomach (no low cut, form
fitting, spaghetti straps or tank tops.)
● Skirts/shorts may not be more than two inches above the knee.
● Designs may not promote drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and violence or non-Christian
attitudes.
● Sleeveless t-shirts (jerseys) must be worn with a t-shirt underneath.
● No designs, wording, or decorations may be worn on the seat of the pants.
School uniform is also fine for the Christmas Concert if you student does not want to dress up. Please call the office if you have questions about the dress code.

Energy Assistance Program
There is a program to help families pay their heating bills over the winter. It depends on the total income of the family. Please text or call me (317-207-6153) if you would like to learn more. I can help you fill out the application.
Future Royals
Roncalli Choir and Band Christmas Concerts
Tickets go on sale for the annual choir and band Christmas concerts on Wednesday, November 27! You will not want to miss these holiday performances, so get your tickets early! The Roncalli choirs will perform on Wednesday, December 11, and the RHS bands will perform on Thursday, December 12.
Completing Roncalli's Application for Admission
Roncalli is excited to welcome the Class of 2029 next fall! The application for admission is now available online at https://roncalli.schooladminonline.com/users/sign_in. As a reminder, the application/registration fee is $100, and it will increase to $150 after January 15, 2025. All fees are nonrefundable.
Once the application is complete, please continue through the Checklist Items in the Parent Portal. For those who have not been in a South Deanery Catholic grade school for grades seven and eight, one of those next steps will include scheduling an admissions interview for January 14, 15 or 16. For those that do not need an admissions interview, Allie Ross, director of admissions and marketing, will email you with appointment times for scheduling courses. December High School Placement Test at Roncalli
Did your 8th grader miss the November High School Placement Test? Roncalli has an upcoming testing date on Saturday, December 7, and the information for the morning is below.- MUST PRE-REGISTER at https://permission.click/NpW10/int
- Cost is $10
- Drop Off at 8:40 AM at the Main Entrance-Door 1
- Test will be on a computer from 9:00-11:30 AM
- Pickup at 11:30 AM at the Main Entrance-Door 1
- Accommodations are not guaranteed for makeup test dates

Handbook Reminders
All students go outside for recess. Please send a coat - hat and gloves if you student gets cold easily- daily! We do not have coats to lend students to go outside.
The only exception to this policy is if it is raining or if the air temperature/ windchill is below 25 degrees at recess time.
Intramural Basketball Updates
Below you will find the updates to the our Intramural Basketball program. This year, the games will be held at Saint Philip Neri - 545 Eastern Avenue, Indianapolis IN 46201
Please note that games are during the week this year and not on Saturdays.

Substitutions may be made without notice. Student meals are provided at no cost through the USDA. Lunch includes choices of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, proteins, and dairy.
