Wednesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April16, 2025 only (8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
- Sign-up begins at 8:00 a.m.
- First come first serve to the first 120 people only.
- Remember: Vaccinations are NOT offered on a daily basis.

STAR Fair
This event provides resources for secondary students with disabilities, their families, and staff. Learn about: adaptive recreation, employment, housing, college and postsecondary opportunities, transition programs, and transportation.

FREE Developmental Screenings for Young Children
Get connected to community resources including:
• Nevada Early Intervention Services and CCSD Child Find Programs
• Autism Treatment Assistance Program
• NV Division of Welfare & Supportive Services to enroll in programs like SNAP, Medicaid, TANF and more
• Early Learning Programs including Head Start, PreK and Child Care
• Nutrition Programs including WIC and the Southern Nevada Health District’s 5-2-1-0 Program

Today we are highlighting Alejandro Grimaldo, a Project Facilitator at the CCSD FSC!
Alejandro's journey with the CCSD began with a deep commitment to education and supporting multilingual learners. Since stepping into the classroom in August 1998, he has dedicated over 26 years to fostering student success and advocating for equitable learning opportunities.
His transition to the English Language Learner Division as a Project Facilitator further showcased his dedication to supporting educators and multilingual students across CCSD. Now, in his current role at the CCSD FSC, Alejandro continues to go beyond expectations by connecting families with essential resources, fostering strong school-community relationships, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Today we are highlighting Juan Guitron Navarro, a Counselor Specialist at the CCSD FSC.
Juan goes beyond his role by ensuring that students new to the country or Las Vegas receive the credits they have earned and are placed on the best path to graduation. His expertise in analyzing foreign transcripts helps ease the transition for multilingual learners, ensuring they have the support needed to thrive.Beyond transcript evaluation, Juan serves as a dedicated advocate for students who are new to the country or Las Vegas, providing them with the resources and support needed to adjust to a new educational system. His commitment extends to families as well, helping them navigate school requirements and understand their children's academic progress.
