Girls Soccer and Boys Basketball try-outs start on Monday, October 21st. Both try-outs begin immediately after school. Soccer will end at 3:30pm and Basketball will end at 4:00pm. Please ensure that your student has transportation home at that time. Sports packets and physicals do not have to be turned in to try-out or practice, but will be required for those who make the team before the first game is played. PTO will be kicking off our annual holiday Cookie Dough Fundraiser next week! Students will get a special presentation at our Flag Salute on Monday so please keep an eye out for paperwork to come home. More information will also be sent via Parent Square. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and brings in much needed funds to help offset the cost of field trips and school activities. We hope that your student and families can help!

For those asking, we will be celebrating Halloween on Thursday, October 31st. Students are encouraged to dress up on this day in celebration. We ask that all costumes are not extremely gory or violent (no blood/guts and weapons) and all costumes must still meet dress code requirements. Also, we ask that you leave any costume masks at home and face paint be kept minimal. Leadership will also be holding a rally at the end of the school day with a costume competition. If you have any questions, regarding costume guidelines, please contact the front office.

8th grade families, if your student is interested in going on the spring East Coast Trip, it's not too late to sign up! They will be visiting Washington DC, Philadelphia, Amish Country and New York City.
