ASB Leadership Application Due March 17th
Is your LC student a natural leader? Do they care about creating a positive school community in their middle school years? Then they are a great applicant for our ASB Leadership Class at Los Cerritos for the 2025-26 school year.
This year students have been able to participate in leadership opportunities with building teamwork and strong leadership character through the Fulcrum program.
The leadership students have also been engaging in our school curriculum of Character Strong focused on why character and leadership are so important.
The leadership class also plans, coordinates, fundraises, and creates our positive, inclusive, and energetic Los Cerritos culture. We have had additional rally’s this school year, have more prizes, more lunch time activities, sports and clubs because of our Leadership at LC.

Teen Center Ski Trip - March 17
The Thousand Oaks Teen Center is hosting a Ski Trip to Mountain High during the school holiday on March 17th. The trip is $150 per person which covers transportation, lift ticket, supervision included. Permission slip/proof of family medical insurance required to attend. Register by clicking on banner below. Student Leadership Opportunity!
We are excited to announce that we are forming the No Place For Hate Student Leadership Committee and invite your student to join!
The No Place For Hate initiative is a school-wide effort dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students. We believe that every student deserves to feel valued and accepted, regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity.
The Student Leadership Committee plays a crucial role in driving this initiative. We are looking for passionate students who are committed to making a positive difference in our school community. We specifically seek students with diverse viewpoints and experiences, as we believe that a variety of perspectives is essential for creating meaningful change.
As a member of the No Place For Hate Student Leadership Committee, your student will have the opportunity to:
- Develop leadership skills: Participate in planning and implementing school-wide activities and campaigns.
- Promote inclusivity: Help create a welcoming and supportive environment for all students.
- Learn about diversity and inclusion: Gain a deeper understanding of different perspectives and experiences.
- Make a positive impact: Contribute to creating a school culture where everyone feels safe and respected.
- Collaborate with peers: Work alongside other dedicated students to achieve common goals.
- Drive the direction of the No Place for Hate Initiative: Students voices will be used to improve the program.
We are looking for students who:

Yearbook Purchase Deadline - April 30th
Reminder deadline to purchase an LC Yearbook is April 30th at 12pm noon.
- The price of the LC yearbook is $65 dollars or $55 with ASB passport.
- You can make purchase online by visiting our online web store (click on button below).
- We are accepting Cash or Check in our front office located at 2100 Avenida De Las Flores from 8:30AM-4PM, Monday through Friday. Make check payable to LCMS ASB

8th Grade Universal Studios Trip
PERMISSION SLIPS/PAYMENT DUE BY MARCH 21ST
Tickets for Universal Studios are on sale now and will conclude on Friday, March 21, at 4:00 pm.
No tickets will be available for purchase after MARCH 21ST.
· Date of event: Thursday, May 1
· Tickets may be purchased through the LCMS webstore or using cash/check in the front office. If a check is used, please make it payable to LCMS ASB.
· Tickets are $100 and include transportation to/from the park, admission ticket, a meal voucher, and a commemorative drawstring bag.
· Students will need to bring additional money for souvenirs and any additional drinks/food they would like to purchase. Universal Studios accepts cash, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
· Students will leave LCMS at approximately 9:30 AM and will return at approximately 10:00 PM.
· A permission slip must be completed and returned to the front office with payment (or proof of webstore purchase).
· Additional information regarding Universal Studios rules and expectations will be provided at a later date.
· If your student does not currently qualify to attend, an appeal decision will be made prior to the conclusion of ticket sales.
