District Highlights

Congratulations to the Everett Crimson Tide Percussion Ensemble (ECTPE) for being crowned the Percussion Scholastic A Class Champions at the 2025 WGI World Championships, which were held this past weekend in Dayton, Ohio. The ECTPE earned a score of 91.200 in Saturday's finals, giving them top honors in their division. Everett’s program, entitled “The Thread of Fate,” tells the story

of the Fates from Ancient Greece and how human hands cannot mold the thread of fate. Pictured at right are senior members of the Percussion Ensemble Lillian Learned, Precious Vasquez, Em Learned, Luci Rodrigues, and Abby Musto.

Congratulations to Everett High School (EHS) students Jen Solis Garcia, Jonatan Chavez, and Izabella De Oliveira Moreira for winning the 4th Annual Whitsons Food Service Culinary Competition. The team’s winning dish — Chicken Cacciatore with rice and broccoli — will be served during an entire lunch block in the EHS Cafeteria during a school day in early May. The winning team is pictured above (top left) with guest judges Amy Mirra, Hannah Yoo, and Raymon Lebron from the Whitsons Team. Thanks, also, to EPS Chief Technology Officer Joe Patuto for serving as a guest judge.
