A word from your Principal, Ms. Williams
Happy Holidays from Arrey Elementary!
Dear Students, Families, and Staff,
As the holiday season approaches, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for being an important part of our school community. Your hard work, dedication, and support make Arrey Elementary a truly special place.
Over the break, I encourage our students to take a little time to sharpen their math fluency skills or dive into a great book. Learning can be fun and relaxing—whether it’s practicing quick math facts or exploring new worlds through reading. But most importantly, take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy precious moments with family and friends.
From all of us at Arrey Elementary, we wish you a safe, joyful, and peaceful holiday season. See you in the New Year!
Warm regards,
Ms. Brandy Williams
Principal

Art
Hi Families!
December 2024
Happy December!
All students have been learning about three dimensional art. They are making small sculptures that can function as decorative objects. Kinder through third grade are focusing on the spiral. They have looked at various spirals that are found in nature, and have discussed related math concepts. Fourth and fifth graders are looking at the image of the dragon across cultures.
When we return to school in January, students will be working on Poppy Posters for the American Legion Auxiliary. Last year, Levi Napie and Viki Montes had winning submissions! We are so very proud of our creative and hardworking artists.
As always, please reach out with questions or concerns or ideas. We welcome your input about current and future art projects!
Be well,
Thea Storz
