New Deer Valley Websites going live this week.

All District website have gone through a complete redesign that will go live over Thanksgiving Break. The new Copper Creek site has been designed to put the most useful information at your fingertips. This is a work in progress with new information being added.

We will begin setting up tables with all of our collected lost and found clothing, beginning Monday, December 9th. Please stop by our front office and look for any missing jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc. Anything left after the holidays will be donated.

Art Show is happening on the same night as Cookies with Santa. Feel free to walk around the art room and library between 5:00-6:00 and see what your student(s) have been working hard on in art class.

Space is limited and fliers were sent home Thursday 12/5/24 and Friday 12/6/24. Please check your student's backpacks. We strongly encourage online payment to ensure a spot. Online payment/website will close once we have reached our allowed capacity.

If you wish to have your child tested you can access the registration link at the DVUSD Gifted Serviced Website. You must register by January 10th. Students who were tested at the beginning of this school year cannot retest during this time. Testing will take place Jan. 27th-Feb. 21st).

This is the perfect time to make an Extracurricular Activity Tax Credit to any one of our schools and receive a dollar for dollar reduction on your state of Arizona 2024 tax liability. Your school tax credit donations can provide DVUSD students with opportunities to participate in after school and summer programs, field trips, music, and athletic programs or any other extracurricular activity. The Arizona tax credit program (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows a tax credit of up to $200 for individuals and up to $ 400 for married couples, filing jointly, in support of extracurricular activities. More information and links to donate online are available on the DVUSD.org website.

If you forget to donate by the end of the year, don't worry, Donations made between January 1 and April 15 may be applied to the prior tax year. Payments made from January 1, 2025 through April 15, 2025, can be applied to an individual's 2024 Arizona Taxes.
