School Hours

7:35 am - 2:50 pm

Please ensure that your child is at school before 7:35 am. We have had several students coming in late to school which is a loss of learning time.

If the student is absent, please make sure that you send a doctor's note to the front office.

River Oaks Campus Academic and Advisory Committee (CAAC)

River Oaks' Campus Academic Advisory Committee (CAAC) is comprised of campus staff, parents/guardians, business owners, and community members. The council meets for the purpose of implementing planning processes and site-based decision-making regarding:

The development, review, and revision of the campus improvement plan
The review of major campus programs,
The campus budget,
The review of student performance and campus improvement plan progress,
Staff development portions of the campus improvement plan

The CAAC team meets together five times throughout the school year through google meets. If you are interested in joining our CAAC team, please email Jennifer.Garza@pfisd.net

September 27th - Back to School dance

Our Scholastic Fall Book Fair is September 25th to September 30th! We are excited to announce that we will also be open for sales during our Back-to-School Dance on Friday, September 27th, from 5:30-7:00 PM.

We need parent volunteers so our book fair runs smoothly. If you are interested in helping with decorating, setting up and/or assisting students with shopping, please email our librarian, Emily Arbesu at emily.arbesu@pfisd.net

*Pflugerville ISD requires all volunteers to complete a volunteer application and background check.

Friendly Reminder...

We are kindly asking that parents adhere to the established dismissal they communicated with teachers. Any late or uncommunicated changes to a student's dismissal will not be permitted. For instance, if a student is designated as a car rider, parents are required to pick them up in the car rider line, with no exceptions. We are asking that parents communicate any changes in dismissal before 2:15 p.m. We understand emergencies happen and will work through with families.
Please use the side driveway to drop off or pick up your child. The front loop is used for school buses.
Remember to fill out the Community Eligibility Form for lunch through skyward or fill out a paper form. If you need a paper form, please request one from your child's teacher or the front office.
Starting Tuesday, September 3rd, parents will not be able to stand in the hallway when their child is getting their breakfast. This will reduce congestion in the hallway and allow for students and staff to be able to get to their classrooms safely.
