If you are interested in being in our 22nd annual parade, be sure to fill out an application and submit it by 4:00 PM on Monday, November 18th at Muscle Shoals City Hall. Safe Haven Baby Box
We are proud to announce the blessing and opening of Alabama’s 11th Baby Box as of October 22, 2024. This vital resource is now ready to provide a safe and anonymous option for those in need. A special thank you to the Safe Haven Baby Box organization for their partnership, and to Mayor Mike Lockhart, the City Council, Senator Stutts, Representative Underwood, and Representative Kiel for their support in making this initiative a reality. This Baby Box is another step forward in our commitment to saving lives in our community. Thank you to everyone who played a role in bringing this project to fruition!
“Safe Haven Baby Boxes mission is to prevent illegal abandonment of newborns by raising awareness, offering a 24-hour hotline for mothers in crisis and offering the Safe Haven Baby Boxes as a last resort option for women who want to maintain complete anonymity.”

We had so much fun at City Hall enjoying a performance by the Swinging River Jazz Band. Thanks to everyone who came to hang out with us, especially the amazing food trucks, Gholston's BBQ and Kona Ice!
Fire Station 4 Open House
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Muscle Shoals Fire Department’s open house at Station 4! The establishment of this new station represents a significant enhancement to our city, and we greatly appreciate the additional safety it will provide to our community.

The City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of each month, with work sessions beginning at 5:00 PM and regular meetings starting at 5:30 PM or upon the conclusion of the work session, whichever is later. Anyone wishing to address the City Council at either session may click "City Council Agenda Request" above to access the link and complete a request. The completed request must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office in City Hall by 3:00 PM on the Friday preceding the meeting of your intent to speak.
