Tuesday, November 5 is a scheduled Digital Learning Day (DLD) for all students.

This is the second of four at-home asynchronous learning days this school year that will provide additional planning time for teachers.

Note that students can access lessons in eCLASS but will not have virtual class time with their teachers on these scheduled DLDs.

On Tuesday, November 5, GCPS will provide meals via bus distribution. Families should expect buses to run their routes from approximately 10:45 a.m. to noon, beginning at the first stops on the route. These delivered meals are provided at no cost to families, and are provided to anyone 18 years old and under.

It is Science Fair season and Camp Creek wants YOU!

• If you are interested in conducting your own experiments (or working with a partner or two), collecting data and competing with your classmates, please consider entering a project in our Science Fair.

Students are invited to participate in UNITED WAY dress up days!

• During the month of November, we will be conducting Dress Up Days as part of our United Way Student Campaign 2024. Bring $1 to participate each day!
• All dress up day attire should be school appropriate.
• No masks, face coverings, or weapons.

Did you know? Chronic absenteeism is missing 10% or more of school days. That’s just 2 days a month! In GCPS, regular attendance is key to student success.

Chronic absenteeism is widely defined as missing 10% or more of the number of school days a student is enrolled. In Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS), where a school year consists of 180 days, 18 missed school days, whether excused or unexcused, would be considered chronically absent.

Play 2 Learn is a program for young children— ages birth to 5— offered at all elementary schools in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Children and parents and other adults in the family learn TOGETHER through engaging lesson plans in a high-quality preschool environment for 90 minutes each week during the school year.

Book it for the bus! The GCPS Book Mobile 5K and Fun Run will be held on Saturday, November 2, at the GCPS Instructional Support Center, located at 437 Old Peachtree Road, NW, in Suwanee.

This Book Mobile 5K and Fun Run will raise funds to purchase new books for the Book Mobile program, putting books in students’ hands. A family-friendly atmosphere before and after the race features door prizes, snacks, music, and more!
