Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you are enjoying reading Fenway and Hattie with your children! We are looking forward to seeing lots of you at Family Literacy Night on Wednesday, March 19 from 6-7:30pm. Please be sure to send in your registration by March 7 - we will not be able to accept walk-ins at the event. Also, make sure to visit our OSOB website for more details about the trivia and contests, plus information about the author. You can also tune in to our podcast episodes and listen to staff members read the book aloud while you follow along!

Conferences - March 6, by Teacher Invitation ONLY

Teachers will hold conferences on Thursday, March 6 from 4:30-8:15pm. These conferences will be by TEACHER INVITATION ONLY. If your child's teacher would like to schedule a conference with you, he or she will reach out to you directly. Then you can visit the link provided to schedule the conference, or call the office at 440-286-5901 and we will schedule you. Thank you!

OSOB Family Literacy Night - March 19, 6-7:30pm

We hope you'll join us for Family Literacy Night on Wednesday, March 19 from 6-7:30pm! It is the final event of One School One Book, and a great time for the whole family! We will have games, prizes, crafts, and other literacy-based activities all about Fenway & Hattie. We will also be collecting donations for Rescue Village (a list of suggested items came home in your OSOB packets).

Registration is REQUIRED for Family Literacy Night - we cannot accept walk-ins the night of the event. Please return the registration form to school by March 7.

Mark your calendars for the 1st grade's Spring Music Concert! Munson 1st grade students will perform at Park School Auditorium on Tuesday, April 15 from 7-7:30pm. See the flyer below for more details!

Clinic Corner

Hello, Munson families!

We are still seeing cases of flu, strep throat, and the stomach bug around school. Please continue to emphasize proper handwashing and germ etiquette - covering your mouth with your elbow when you sneeze/cough, using a tissue, etc. We know it has been a difficult year for illnesses! Topper Tickets

Topper Tickets are given to students as a special recognition when they demonstrate a Topper Trait - Taking Responsibility, Offering Kindness, and Persevering. Each day, we randomly pull a few Topper Tickets from each grade level to receive a prize!

2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration is OPEN!

Chardon Schools is excited to welcome your Hilltopper to school in the fall! Convenient, online registration for your kindergarten student is now available. Chardon Family Connection Nights!

Are you looking for ways to grow together as a family? Join us at Chardon Middle School for a multi-part series of activities to foster connection and build confidence within your family. Just Run! Registration is OPEN!

Just Run is a nonprofit youth program whose mission is to improve health and well-being of children. Munson's Just Run program will start April 1, with practices every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-4:15pm preparing us to participate in a 5K on Memorial Day weekend. Practices will include a warmup, running practice, and fun games! See more details below, and register your child soon! Parents' Night Out - March 8

Register your child(ren) today for The Floor is Lava Parents' Night Out at Chardon's Best Summer Camp & After School on Saturday, March 8 from 6-9pm! For $35, kids will enjoy games, martial arts, and more while parents can enjoy their evening (kids' dinner is available to purchase too)! And ALL proceeds will be donated back to the Munson PTO! Save the Date! Bingo Night Fundraiser - April 4

Mark your calendars for Munson PTO's Bingo Night Fundraiser on Friday, April 4 at the Munson Town Hall! This will be a fun night for the whole family! Along with Bingo games, we'll have tons of raffles, a silent auction, Chinese auction baskets, and pizza. We are working to raise money for new picnic tables for the school, and we need your support! Save the date - we can't wait to see you and your family there!
