Chester Elementary School
October 3, 2022. A year of significance!
CES Happenings
- Parent/Teacher conferences are next week and we have an early dismissal the entire week. Please see the graphic below for release times or click on the bell schedule button below (see p. 2).
- As tradition has it, we will be having a spirit week next week to coincide with Chester High's Homecoming Week (see graphic below). A bit of clarification for two of the days: "Mr. Bickel Day" is in honor of our long-time and beloved custodian that is currently going through cancer treatments and "Anything-But-a-Backpack Day" means that students carry all of their school items for the day in anything but a backpack (ex. laundry basket). There will be prizes for the classes with the most participation!
- A Jog-a-Thon update: the grand total of $13,398 update that I provided you with has been eclipsed and the new total is $15,000. This event has been so successful that we are looking to utilize some of the funds to provide a campus improvement for our students. More on this in the near future! Thanks to all of you for the overwhelming support of this event.
Sincerely,
Scott Cory
Principal
