Heart & Pride Award
Celebrating our November 2024 Recipients
Congratulations to Middle School West Intervention Specialist Dan Bailey and Chapelfield Elementary Third Grade Teacher Rob Williams, our November 2024 Heart & Pride Award honorees! Both were selected based on outstanding nominations that highlighted the positive impact they’ve made on our Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools students.
Their contributions were celebrated with surprise announcements during staff meetings in their respective buildings, followed by recognition at the November 21, 2024 Board of Education meeting.
Thank you Mr. Bailey and Mr. Williams for your dedication and commitment to GJPS!
As a reminder, we honor two exceptional staff members each month throughout the school year. If you know a GJPS team member, no matter their role, who exemplifies the HEART of a LION and the POWER of the PRIDE, take a moment to nominate them!

COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS INFORMATION NIGHT
Gahanna Lincoln High School will be virtually hosting their annual College Credit Plus (CCP) Informational student and parent meeting on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The first hour of the meeting will include general CCP information from central Ohio colleges and universities, and the second hour will highlight specific requirements from GLHS as well as time for Q&A.
As shared on the Ohio Department of Higher Education's website, "College Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families."
More information about the program can be found on the Ohio Department of Higher Education's website. The link to this meeting will be shared by our secondary principals closer to the event.
