Congratulations to our newly confirmed! Be filled with the Spirit!
October 24th, 2024
As we approach Thanksgiving, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the many blessings that enrich our lives, both within our school community and in our personal journeys. At St. Patrick Catholic School, we are incredibly grateful for the ways God continues to bless and guide us.
First and foremost, we give thanks for our students. Each day, their enthusiasm for learning and their openness to growing in faith inspire all of us. We are blessed with young minds and hearts eager to embrace their education and spirituality.
We are also thankful for our dedicated staff. The commitment of our teachers and staff members to serving our students and living out their faith is evident in every lesson taught, every project guided, and every kind word shared. Their devotion creates a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically, spiritually, and emotionally.
We express gratitude for the gift of celebrating School Mass together. These moments of gathering as a school family to worship deepen our connection with Christ and strengthen the bonds within our community. They remind us that, no matter the busyness of life, we must take time to center our hearts and minds on God.
Lastly, we are thankful for the opportunity to integrate our Catholic Faith into our classrooms. This is the essence of who we are. We are able to teach not only academics but also the values and principles that shape our students into compassionate, faith-filled individuals.
During the month of November and as we approach Thanksgiving, let us reflect cherish these gifts with grateful hearts and continue to recognize God’s abundant blessings in our lives. May the spirit of Thanksgiving fill our hearts with joy and appreciation for one another and the grace that surrounds us every day.
Blessings,
Mr. Wiebers

Volunteer Night at the NE Iowa Food Bank
All families are welcome!
St. Patrick School has a long standing tradition of family volunteer nights at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. This year, we are hoping to get involvement back up to pre-COVID levels, but we need your help. The food bank always has great volunteer jobs for us to do that are age-appropriate for our students and give you the opportunity as parents to teach your kids about why the food bank is critical to our community.
Please join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except March) this school year from 6-7:30pm. This is a great way also for the 5th-8th graders to complete their required service hours.
We are limited to 30 spots, so if you are interested, please contact me, Erin Youngblut, at erinyoungblut@gmail.com to register.
