Yesterday, our WPMS football team dominated Buena Vista with a 42-0 victory, wrapping up their regular season UNDEFEATED! πͺπ
Next up, they're taking on CaΓ±on City next Wednesday, October 9 at 6:30 PM, under the lights on our home field, for the Tri-League Championship game! πποΈ

WPHS Athletic Spotlight
π₯ The Panthers softball team had a banner day, sweeping the Dolores Huerta Scorpions in a doubleheader! Pitcher Destiny Curran was unstoppable, throwing a no-hitter in Game 1 and coming just one out short of another in Game 2 with 6 strikeouts! πͺ Taylor Wilson led the offense with 3 hits, including a home run and 7 RBIs. Austin DiFabio and Mollie Miller added doubles, while Rylee Schoendaller racked up 4 hits. The Panthers stole 19 bases across both games, led by Christine Renteria with 5 steals.
