The mission of Maria Montessori Academy is to provide an individualized education that promotes academic excellence founded on the authentic philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori.

Maria Montessori Academy will craft each child’s education in partnership with educators and parents to achieve higher levels of academic, personal and social achievement, thereby preparing students to become constructive contributors to their community.

Family Newsletter September 20, 2024

Dear Families,

We reached 91% attendance this week! Great work students and families!

Next week we will finish up our beginning of year assessments in reading and math. These assessments help us determine what students know and what additional support or extensions we need to provide in order to continue to meet the individual academic needs. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to parent teacher conferences on October 7th and 8th so we can share the current placement and goals we have for the year. Student photos were taken today. If you didn’t get a change to order, students will bring home a proof in a couple of weeks and you can order at that time.

Our Fall Festival is next Friday! We are so excited for this event!

PIZZA FRIDAYS

We have a new process in place to order pizzas! Thank you for your patience as we navigate ways to make this process more efficient for everyone. Here is the new procedure :

1) Fill the form out for EACH student they are ordering for

2) Order 1 month in advance. We will close off October pizza orders on Sept 28th. Anyone who wants pizza in October needs to get their order form completed and payment submitted by September 28th if they haven't already submitted an order.
