Parent Survey
- Here at HFE and Fulton County Schools, we truly value the feedback from our parents about their experiences with our school and the district. That is why we encourage all parents to take the Annual Parent Perception Survey. Last year our parent participation rate was 39%. Let’s work to boost that this year!
Our students’ opinions are important too! Students in grades 3-5 will take the Annual Student Perception Survey on Monday, October 28th during the school day. In our ongoing efforts to remain transparent with parents, please take a moment to review the grades 3-5 student survey.

Participate Remote Days
Having our students in school each and every day is a priority for us here at HFE. We want to share with you information about Participate Remote Days
Approved Participate Remote Learning Days are a new addition to the Fulton County attendance policy as of last year. Each student is able to take 5 approved remote learning days each semester. These can be used when you have a special family event, required travel, etc. These days must be requested at least 5 days in advance and require principal's approval. These days may not be used on testing days. Here is how the process works:
1. Parent notifies student's homeroom teacher of wanting to take remote learning days.
2. Teacher will provide link for parents to fill out requesting remote learning days (link below).
2. Teachers will provide work that must be completed within 5 days of the absence
Please reach out to Mrs. Dunagan with any questions.
iReady Scores
This year parents will be able to access you child's iReady scores digitally. Link below will take to a flyer that has step by step instructions on how to access iReady.
Multiplication Fluency Practice
Multiplication and division are BIG concepts that is covered in 3rd/4th grade math. With accelerated math fact fluency will make learning more complex concepts easier. For extra practice, I am listing below some FREE resources. These are not required, they are optional for extra support at home.
A little bit about me...
My name is Ms. Capers and I teach the 3rd grade! Just some fun facts about me. I was born in Manhattan, New York, but relocated to Georgia when I was seven. I like to call myself a Georgia apple. This year I will be going into my 10th year of teaching and my 6th year at HFE. My favorite things to do outside of teaching are reading, trying new restaurants, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
I am thoroughly excited for another extraordinary year at HFE!!
