The Birth to 3 Program is looking forward to a great year! We are currently enrolling new families in the Program. This FREE home visiting program supports parents in their role as a child’s first, best, and most important teacher. In addition to home visits, we offer:

• Groups throughout the community

• Weekly storytime group at the Library

• Free screenings and referrals

• Field Trips

• Books and activities for you and your child

Welcome to Pioneer Preschool!

  • Purpose: To get to know families before the first day of school

We are excited to share that we are offering an after school academic program called Beyond the Bell - MyLearning. MyLearning will support and enrich students in the areas of math and literacy, with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) activities embedded.

The program is open to all students in grades 1st-5th and will run as follows:

Days: Monday-Thursday
Times: 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM
Trimester 1 Start Date: September 23, 2024
Trimester 2 Start Date: December 9, 2024
Trimester 3 Start Date: March 17, 2025

MyLearning is open to all students in grades 6th-8th. A newcomer class will run in addition to the general education classrooms and focus on language development.

LMS MyLearning program will run as follows:

Location: Leman Middle School
Trimester 1 Start Date: September 23, 2024
Trimester 2 Start Date: December 9, 2024
Trimester 3 Start Date: March 17, 2025

The first day of school for District 33 students is as follows:

• August 29, 2024: 1st - 8th grade (full day of classes)

• August 30, 2024: Kindergarten students

• September 4, 2024: Preschool students

2024/2025 School Calendar

We are excited to welcome our new kindergarten students!

Kindergarten orientation will take place on August 29, 2024. Your elementary school will send more information with specific times.

Elementary Schools

All elementary school students and their parents/guardians are invited to a "Meet and Greet" at their school.

Date: Wednesday, August 28, 2024
Time: 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Place: All Elementary Schools

This is a time for children and parents to meet their new teacher, the building principal, and the assistant principal and drop off school supplies in the classroom.

Students and parents are invited to walk the halls of LMS and find their classes in this open-house event. There are no formal presentations given. It is simply an opportunity for students to explore the building and prepare for the first day of school!
