Judson ISD Superintendent Message
May 13, 2024
Dear Judson ISD Family:
This week is Police Appreciation Week, and I want to take this opportunity to thank our JISD Police Department for all they do for the Judson ISD Family. Appreciating our district police goes beyond acknowledging their role in keeping students and staff safe; it extends to recognizing their efforts to foster positive relationships within the school community. School police officers proactively engage with students and staff, building trust and positive relationships. By nurturing these relationships, they create an environment where potential issues can be addressed before they escalate, promoting a culture of safety and support. If you see one of our JISD Police Officers, be sure to thank them for their hard work and dedication to our students and staff.

JISD Celebrates Years of Service and Spirit of Judson!
After the service awards, the Spirit of Judson Awards were given out to someone from each campus who makes sure that students receive a quality education in and outside the classroom while also contributing something special to the campus.
We are incredibly grateful to have each and every one of these educators as part of the Judson ISD Family!
Give Blood, Save a Life.
Thank you to all who gave blood at the annual Blood Drive in honor of Bryce Wisdom. Once again, the drive reached its giving goal! Thank you to JHS Health Science Teacher Melanie Perales and her students for organizing the event!
Salinas' PEIMS Clerk Brenda Castellanos becomes U.S. Citizen
Writing a great chapter in your book of life requires you to take chances. If you can, buy that car, build that house, apply for that job, or say hi to that person.
It can also mean taking a chance and moving your life somewhere new. Although scary, it adds to another chapter to your life, another great story that can be told.
Risks lead to experiences, which lead to great stories.
Mrs. Brenda Castellanos, the PEIMS Clerk at Salinas Elementary, has a great story.
