Thanks for your tremendous support with our Reading for Education fundraiser!! We raised over $4500 to support our students with new reading materials and supplies they need to be successful. Bethel families truly are the BEST!!

We will be having our spring lockdown drill and our annual tornado drill on Wednesday, March 12th. We combined these two drills last year and it worked out really well.

Students in grades 3rd-5th will be taking their Math, Reading, and Science ( 5th grade only) Check ins this week. This is a practice test that is more laid back than the 27 week test at the end of March, however, they are very important and help teachers to gauge where students are and how to best help prepare them for our EOGs. Please have your child here each day rested and remind them to eat our free breakfast in the cafeteria! Thanks for your support!

Our Spring Pictures will be on March 21st! These will be individual pictures and the Group class photos.

Our last word of the week for February is determined. Our students are learning about character traits and see the word determined sometimes when describing a character. We want our students to be determined to be their very best, but we also want them to recognize what that means for others as well.

Our third annual Spring Fling will be Friday, May 2nd! We are beginning to plan for this big event and we hope you will plan to join us!!

Please see the revised HCS calendar below. There is no longer an early dismissal or a remote day in March. We do still have our early dismissal on April 11 and Spring Break the week of April 14th.

Thank you for your tremendous support with our Math Days/Nights! It has been fun to have parents and students on campus learning math strategies, games, and a math growth mindset. The kindergarten math day is being rescheduled with our snow day on 2/20.

On February 28th, from 12:45-1:15, Third Grade will be having their Math event and then the music program will immediately follow.

Our annual Adopt a Pet day that coincides with Reading Across America, will be on Friday, March 7th. This is a fun event for students! They adopt a stuffed animal, name it and get to take care of it. This is a free event sponsored by our PTO. Thanks, PTO!!

We will be having our STEM night on Thursday, April 3rd! Save the date! More information will be sent home soon. It's always a free, fun evening with our families doing science, technology, engineering, and math!! Hope to see you all there!
