Student Highlights

Juniors

On Tuesday, October 22nd, Mrs. Minard and Mrs. Keagle took 11th grade students to a College Fair sponsored by Bradford High School where CHS students had the opportunity to talk with representatives from 25 different Colleges,Technical schools and the Armed Forces. We also traveled to the University of Pittsburgh- Bradford for a tour of the campus, residence halls and a delicious lunch in the dining room.

Falcon 4 Recognition

Haylee James, Joanna Chen, Autumn Haggard

The Potter County Youth Leadership team met at the Gunzburger Building to learn about Local Government. Our 3 CHS students met the Commissioners, learned about the functions and operation of local government from Mr. Barry Hayman, went on a tour of the Tax Claim & Assessment, GIS & Mapping/Planning,and Register of Wills & Deeds offices. They also participated in a brainstorming session for the Revitalize Potter County community development project.

Student Writing

Grade 3 - AnnMarie Lowe, Kinsley Sherwood, Maysen Benjamin, Cameron Spencer, Fiona Clary, and Lukas Connelly

Our class started working on Math Journals to show our work and justify our answers on spiral review topics like subtraction, multiplication, and division strategies. It was a great way to incorporate writing into our math block and work on explaining our thinking!

Staff Recognition

Michelle Dawson

Michelle has been going above and beyond and doing a wonderful job managing our cafeteria(s). She is so personable and friendly with all the staff and students, attentive to detail, and always has a smile on her face! Thanks, Michelle, for being a team player, a wonderful asset to our school community, and helping to ensure all our Falcons are fed!

Adam Lamber

I would like to highlight Mr. Lamber because he is an amazing role model to our students. He always goes above and beyond to help students in and out of the classroom when needed. It is always nice to see Mr. Lamber standing outside to greet students and staff as they arrive for the day. He brings so much positivity and fun to the school. Thank you Mr. Lamber for all that you do every day!
