This monthly newsletter is being provided with funds from the Early Educator Teacher Grant , funded by CDE. This grant will serve Plumas Unified, Plumas Charter and SCFO teachers and support staff who work with children.
Services offered under this grant:
- The cost of Early Childhood Education (ECE) courses, including tuition, books and other necessary resources, will be provided to TK teachers working to obtain the required ECE units. TK teachers will also be provided a stipend upon completion.
- Funds to support the cost of ECE Professional Development opportunities for TK Admin, TK teachers, TK classroom support staff, and SCFO teachers/staff.
- Participation stipends TK Teachers, TK classroom support staff, and SCFO staff for completing professional development related to ECE.
- Support for SCFO preschool teachers/staff or TK support staff who have a Bachelor's Degree to work towards a teaching credential.
- Augmented academic stipends for for SCFO teachers and staff working with children under the LPC stipend program (more money to you if you apply)
