On Wednesday, February 12 all 3rd-9th grade students will be taking their math interim test. The purpose of this test is to monitor student growth and progress. We will use the data to help focus lessons before the STAAR test in April.

Lady Bulldogs will play their bi-district game against Garden City on Monday, February 10 at 6:00 pm. The game will be played as San Angelo Lakeview High School.

The San Angelo Food Bank will be set up in the elementary parking lot on Thursday, February 13 from 10:00 until 11:00. Anyone is welcome to drive through during that time to receive a box of groceries.

We will not be having Valentine parties this year. Elementary teachers will send out information regarding Valentine card exchanges. Instead of parties, teachers and students will have Valentine themed activities intertwined with their academics throughout the day.

Friday, February 14 is the 100th day of school. Can you believe it has already been 100 days? About 3 months from now we will be celebrating the end of the year with award ceremonies and kindergarten and high school graduations. Hold on! It's going to be a fast ride.

The six weeks will end on Friday, February 14. Please encourage your students to check the portal and get all missing work turned in. Progress reports will be posted on Tuesday, February 18 in parent portal.

The next school board meeting will be on Monday, February 17 at 6:00 pm.
