- Sunday the 15th is the beginning of National Hispanic History Month in the US! We will be incorporating activities over the course of the month in celebration. Do you know that the reason we celebrate National Hispanic history Month from September 15th through the 15th of October? Its because those dates coincides with several Central American countries' Independence days: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico celebrates on the 16th, and Chile on the 18th!
