Join us for delicious, piping hot beignets & steaming coffee. We will be handing out information on creating your teacher webpage account and using Infographic sites, such as Smore.com, blendspace and infogr.am. This invitation contains most of the links for these digital resources.

Through the creation of infographics students can demonstrate their understanding of a topic visually. The tools below vary from simple infographic creators to multimedia images and presentations. Teachers can integrate technology as they combine both text and digital resources.

• Easel.ly (see the video below)
• Blendspace (log in with your school Google account)
• Infogr.am - true infographic creator - use real data - image to the left
• Meograph - multimedia storytelling
• Glogster - interactive posters (free teacher accounts/trial student accounts)
• ThingLink - make images come alive with links, video, music, images, etc.

Several of these accounts can be integrated with your school email account (Google education account). When possible use the google login instead of creating a new account. Some have apps that can be added to your Google Chrome dashboard - available through the Google Chrome Store.

Easel.ly - create and share visual ideas online

Use your device QR Code Reader (I use i-nigma) to scan the QR code to the right to go to my blendspace project example. Blendspace can also be embedded on the web or links shared with email. We are currently using this example with Mrs. Rentfro's ELA classes.
