Please note that nominations for the 2024-2025 Home & School board will take place at our April meeting - so this would be a great meeting to attend to learn more about getting involved!

In February, we completed Afterschool Recs for both 1st grade and 2nd grade. The students had a great time! We’d like to thank the parent and staff volunteers that make these events possible. Thank you!

In April and May, we will host events for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Please mark your calendar for the dates below and watch for sign-up details in the weeks prior to your child’s Rec. We look forward to doing Recs with your Kindergartner when they move into 1st grade, next school year.

Lip sync is Thursday, March 7, at 7 PM at Souderton Area High School. Performer check-in is at 6 PM, and the event begins at 7 PM. Hope to see you all there!

Home and School is so excited for our upcoming Lip Sync on March 7th. We are writing to let you know about a few ways you can help support the event.

First, we will be selling bouquets you can pre-purchase for your talented kids. The bouquets are pre-order only and must be paid for in advance. They will be available to pick up at the concession stand in the lobby prior to the start of Lip Sync.

There are two different options available: a small or large bouquet. Both bouquets will include baby’s breath, greens, cello wrap and a bow. The small bouquet will include a minimum of 4 stems of flowers, while the large will include a minimum of 8 stems. The cost for the small bouquet is $8 and the large is $15.

Payment will be accepted via Venmo using the QR code here or you can pay via paypal at oakridgehomeandschool@gmail.com. Please note the recipient's name in the comments when paying for the bouquet. All orders are due by Friday, March 1st.

We will also be offering beautiful wooden roses for sale at the concession stand that evening for $2 each.

We are happy to be able to have our concession stand for the event and are looking for some donations. Please sign up using the signup genius link if you can help!

We are requesting all items be dropped off in the Oak Ridge Lobby on March 6th or 7th prior to 2:30 pm.

Lastly, please bring your $1 bills to purchase some snacks for the show! All proceeds from concession stand sales will go to The Bean Bag Food Program, the designated charity for this year.

Oak Ridge Home & School is proud to sponsor the annual Lip Sync as a free and fun event for our school community. Each year, we collect voluntary donations in support of one selected charity. This year we are supporting The Bean Bag Food Program which strives to fill the gap of hunger that children face when they are not in school. The Bean Bag Program partners with schools in the Souderton Area and Quakertown Community School Districts to provide weekly backpacks filled with food to help children and families in need get through the weekend.

Cash donations will be collected during Admission at Lip Sync. Donations can also be made before, during, or after the event via Venmo to @oakridge_homeandschool. See QR code in the concession stand section above. In addition to your donations, all proceeds from concession stand sales will go to The Bean Bag Food Program.

Oak Ridge Home & School will be selling Bake-At-Home Pizza Kits for $15 each. A flyer with all of the details and how to place your order will be sent home with your student in early March.

Save the Date! Oak Ridge Home and School’s First Annual Lucky Numbers Basket Raffle fundraiser will be held on May 17th! More details coming soon!
