It seems like spring might finally be here! It's wonderful to have the opportunity to be outside and enjoy the sunshine. 🌞

There is no school on Friday this week.

Don't forget to sign up for the PTA Fun Run (information below). The Steck PTA does A LOT to support our school and this is their biggest fundraiser. Every year this proves to be an outstanding community event!

School Supply Kit Donations

Each year we support Steck families in need with school supply kits. If you are interested in helping a family in need with back to school materials, please complete this form by Friday, May 16.

Steck Team IPEF 2025

Register for Steck Team IPEF as part of Team IPEF 2025 and make a difference for our school and our community! Join over 300 teachers, students, and community members from across the district to run, walk, or cheer as we raise funds for IPEF programs and our schools. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just want to be part of something meaningful, Team IPEF is a fun and inspiring way to show your school spirit and help make an impact. Register as a charity runner for the 5K, 10k, or half marathon between March 3 – April 30. Race Day is October 19th. Find out more on their Registration Page.

Helping Parents Prepare for Kindergarten and First Grade

Starting school is a big step for children and their families! Becoming an Elementary School Parent is a helpful presentation designed to guide parents and guardians through this exciting transition. You’ll learn what to expect as your child begins full-time school and discover ways to support their emotional growth. The event will end with a panel discussion featuring experienced staff from Indian Prairie School District 204, who will answer your questions and share valuable insights. Coffee & Conversations

Enjoy coffee, light snacks, and a casual conversation with District 204 Superintendent Dr. Adrian Talley, Board Member Catey Genc, and Board Member Justin Karubas. This informal gathering is an opportunity to share your thoughts on what the district is doing well and what you’d like to see in the future. The session will take place at the Waubonsie Valley High School LMC on Thursday, April 24 at 7:00 PM. T-SHIRT: All Registered Racers will get a T-shirt IF registered by: April 18th
PACKET PICK UP: Thursday, May 8th, 4:00 – 6:00 at the Oaks Pool
RACE DAY: Saturday, May 10th
COURSE DETAILS:
