Dear Dolphin Families,

We are looking forward to an exciting week of fun and learning at LMDES. Tuesday, March 25, is known as Maryland Day. This commemorates the landing of the first European settlers in the Province of Maryland. Students and staff are invited to wear their Maryland colors to show their Maryland pride.

Wednesday, March 26, is the LMDES Talent Show! This event begins at 6:00 pm, it is sure to be a night to remember. We hope to see you there!

Friday, March 28, is a 2-Hour Early Dismissal day for students. This is the final day of the third marking period.

With the third marking period coming to a close, MCAP testing (for grades 3, 4, 5) is right around the corner. See the MCAP dates below.

LMDES Career Day is scheduled for Friday, June 6. We are looking for community members to share their jobs and inspire our students! Career day volunteers can present inside classrooms or bring a vehicle (farm equipment, police/EMS, construction) to share in the parking lot.

Parent and Family Engagement for Young Children: Please join us for a 6-part series of Virtual Conscious Discipline Workshops, with 1 In-Person Session, with Lead Conscious Discipline Instructors Amy Speidel and Lety Valero. A video with instructions is available HERE. The form can now be accessed in Spanish by clicking on the Globe in the top right-hand corner once the form has been started.
